  What are the Best states for living in a tiny house?

  California is known as the most expensive state to own a tiny house. So any alternatives?

  Sorry to burst your bubble but the West Coast is known for being the most expensive states for owning tiny houses. Five of the states on the West Coast are known to be the top five most expensive states for tiny houses, like California, Nevada, and New Mexico.

  My top three alternatives include Arizona, Washington, and Colorado. They’re still on the higher side of the spectrum but much lower compared to Nevada and New Mexico.

  I agree. Colorado is a much tiny house-friendly state that has been booming despite its limited legal parking restrictions for tiny house on wheels. Here you’ll find interesting festivals like Tiny House Jamboree, People’s Tiny House Festival, and the annual Colorado Tiny House Festival organized by developers and advocates of the tiny house community. These eye opener activities proved to people of the state that tiny living is a wonderful path to take.
